TAMPERE, Finland (VIP NEWS) — The final addition to the line-up at Music & Media Finland's international seminar program is music business legend, Barry Dickins.
Since co-founding ITB over 30 years ago, Dickins has helped forge the modern agency business. He is the "gentleman agent" currently responsible for a wealth of top flight artists including Neil Young, Diana Ross and Bob Dylan.
With experience working with legendary acts like Jimi Hendrix, The Who and The Doors, and with contemporary superstars, such as D’Angelo and Jamiroquai, Barry will share his vast knowledge and humor with the audience of Finnish and international guests.
Music & Media Finland 2010 will also feature delegates with keynotes from Jonathan Forster (Spotify), Roger Mavity (Conran) and a special session with Rein Lang (Estonia's Minister of Justice), who has a music business background from prior to his political career.
Over the two seminar days, the seminar will spotlight a number of topical panels and discussions on subjects including artist branding, the future of music media, and the issue of Nordic co-operation in the music business.
The conference takes place on October 21st through October 24th in Tampere, Finland.
