NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers for the 2014 edition of the Dove Awards have confirmed that Newsboys, Kari Jobe, and the Outcome have been added to the performer's lineup for this year's awards show.
The newly announced performers join a lineup that includes King & Country, Ellie Holcomb, 1 Girl Nation, Tedashii, Natalie Grant, Hezekiah Walker, Matthew West, and Erica Campbell. There will also be Southern Gospel medley featuring Brian Free & Assurance, Karen Peck & New River, Wayne Haun and Ernie Haase.
Organizers for the awards show also revealed that Hillsong will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award for their contributions to gospel and christian music. SiriusXM and Christian music recording artist Eddie DeGarmo will also be recognized at the event.
Set for October 7, 2014 at Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, the Dove Awards will be aired on Trinity Broadcasting Network and streamed live on www.hearitfirst.com/live.
