Duck Dynasty Cast Show Canceled Due To Low Ticket Sales

SPRINGFIELD, MO (CelebrityAccess) — Citing low ticket sales, organizers have canceled a live appearance by cast members of "Duck Dynasty" that had been scheduled for April 26 at JQH Arena.

According to the Springfield News-Leader, JQH Arena director Keith Boaz confirmed that the show's producer JTK Productions had pulled the plug on the show.

The show was to include an appearance by members of the Robertson family — Willie, Korie, Miss Kay and Uncle Si, who feature on A&E's hit television show about a family who became wealthy from their family operated business Duck Commander.

The appearance did not include Phil Robertson, who stirred controversy in December 2013 during an interview with GQ magazine when he compared homosexuality to beastiliaty and lumped homosexuals in the same category as terrorists.

“We never, ever judge someone on who’s going to heaven, hell. That’s the Almighty’s job,” Robertson told GQ. “We just love ‘em, give ‘em the good news about Jesus — whether they’re homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort ‘em out later, you see what I’m saying?”

"Duck Dynasty" fans who purchased tickets to the canceled show will receive a refund. – Staff Writers
