Eagle Rock Set To Release Four Live DVDs

Eagle Vision, Inc., the North American subsidiary of Eagle Rock Entertainment Ltd., will release its initial four DVD/video releases for 2002 on February 12: full length concert/documentary DVDs on Elvis Presley, The Doors, Marvin Gaye, and Wishbone Ash.

Eagle Rock Entertainment Ltd., founded in April 1997, has become one of the leading international distributors of music related DVD and home video. Eagle Vision, the visual programming division of the company, was founded in April 2000. The company acquires and produces visual and new media projects for television, broadband, DVD, pay-per-view, home video and the Internet. Concerts and documentaries by musical legends such as Alice Cooper, Tina Turner, The Bee Gees, Genesis and Earth, Wind and Fire, quickly built that division of Eagle Rock in the United States, and these upcoming releases continue the quality of releases on which the company has always been based.

The Elvis Presley DVD, "Classic Album: Elvis Presley," focuses on the recording of Elvis’ first album for Sun Records in 1956 and his meteoric rise to superstardom.

"The Doors' Tribute to Jim Morrison: No One Here Gets Out Alive" contains performance clips and exclusive interviews with surviving band members and others close to Morrison about the quixotic singer whose life and death remain a fascinating mystery 30 years after his death. Although Warners previously released this program in 1990 on VHS, it will be released on the DVD format for the first time.

Produced with the cooperation of his family and friends, "Marvin Gaye: Behind The Legend," offers insight to the singer/songwriter’s life, music and spirituality as much for his longtime fans as for a whole new generation of music lovers who continue to discover this musical icon’s influence and talent. The DVD version contains 22 minutes of bonus concert footage of Marvin at the height of his popularity.
