Eckerson Named Chairman Of Gridiron Stadium Network

The Gridiron Stadium Network has finalized its operating organization by electing an executive board made up of representatives of four of the 11 stadiums. Chairman of the organization is Steve Eckerson of Qwest Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks; vice chairman is Karen Marsch of Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo; Todd Boyan of FedExField, home of the Washington Redskins is secretary; and Jim Sacco, of Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers will act as treasurer for the upcoming year.

Overseeing day-to-day operations and communications for the GSN will be Pamela Fallon, former senior vice president for Clear Channel Entertainment’s Music division. Fallon began her career in 1987 as assistant to the president of Foxboro Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. After leaving Foxboro Stadium, Fallon worked both in live entertainment and politics. In 1994 she joined the Don Law Company before working her way up through the corporate ranks at Clear Channel. “We are thrilled that Pamela has agreed to work with the GSN, she brings a great understanding of the live entertainment business, as well as passion and commitment for the goals of the GSN," stated Eckerson.

Continuing with the GSN as a consultant is Tom Rooney whose idea that an advocacy organization be formed to better represent the state-of-the-art stadiums, homes to many of the NFL teams. Rooney brings more than 30 years of experience in both sports and live music. He currently provides consulting services to a wide range of sports and entertainment clients, including professional and collegiate sports teams and live entertainment venues.
