LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Promoter and venue operator DHP Family has named Ed Lilo as their new Head Of Venue Programming, London.
Based out of the company's London offices, Lilo will work with external and inhouse promoters across all three of the company's London venues; Oslo in Hackney and two newer acquisitions The Garage in Highbury and The Borderline in Soho.
Ed joins DHP having spent more than three years at VICE UK managing the programming, marketing and event production for over 100 events a month as well as delivering large scale events, brand activations and promoting upwards of 50 concerts a year.
Born in Sheffield in 1985, Ed began promoting music events at the age of 17 and moved to Brighton in 2005, where he worked for various advertising agencies, was music editor for a fashion magazine and sold records at Resident before opening independent venue the Green Door Store and joining VICE UK in 2013.
”I hope to bring a new perspective to what DHP is doing now and a focus on creating awesome concert diaries for both The Garage and The Borderline, as well as planning for 2017 and beyond," Lilo said in a press statement.
“DHP works at a scale that’s attractive: small enough to care but big enough to make stuff happen. They’re established and ambitious and care about what they do but aren’t afraid to try projects that others don’t expect of them. And their venues and concerts are all produced to a really high standard.”
