Eskowitz Exits Live Nation For Premier Exhibitions


ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation Chief Officer of North American Music Bruce Eskowitz has announced his departure from the live music powerhouse, as he has been appointed President and CEO of touring museum exhibitions company Premier Exhibitions.

“After a thorough search, we have concluded that Bruce possesses the right blend of seasoned leadership, strategic skills, and international experience to navigate our industry's challenges and capitalize on its opportunities,” said Premier Chairman Arnie Geller in a statement. “Well-qualified with a proven track record in a highly competitive industry, Bruce has demonstrated an ability to master the competitive pressures of today's marketplace with innovation and an unwavering focus.”

Eskowitz was responsible for concert promotion, venue management and sponsorship/alliances at Live Nation. He also oversaw the management and expansion of Live Nation's recently acquired House of Blues clubs division, as well as the ongoing expansion of the company's venue portfolio into the small and midsize level. Mr. Eskowitz will assume his leadership role at Premier effective October 1, 2007.

Previously, Mr. Eskowitz was Live Nation's President and Chief Executive Officer — Global Venues and Alliances, President of Clear Channel Entertainment Properties, and President of Clear Channel Entertainment National Sales and Marketing. Throughout his 20 year career in entertainment, sports, advertising and promotion, he has also served as President of PACE Communications and has worked in international advertising agencies, serving as Senior Vice President at Bates Worldwide and Campbell Mithun Esty.

Premier also announced that Arnie Geller would fulfill the newly created executive position of Chairman, a promotion from his previous role as Director and his current position as the company’s Chairman of the Board. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
