EXIT Named Best European Music Festival 2016

LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Exit has been named Best Summer Music Festival in Europe for 2016 by the travel portal "European Best Destinations" awarded in cooperation with the European Commission. Exit has been placed before the British Secret Garden, Belgian Tomorrowland, even the giant Glastonbury, as well as the neighboring Sziget. "European Best Destinations" have also stated that “Exit Festival has become of one the most important music festivals in the world. European Best Destinations is a European organization created to promote culture and tourism in Europe, together with the 355 European tourism offices members of this organization they promote, since 2009, the best of Europe. Its work and annual recognitions, voted for by hundreds of thousands travelers from the entire world are directly influencing promotion of the awarded destinations, which later see an increase in the number of global tourists and investors. Novi Sad, home of Exit Festival, has also been nominated for the Best European destination in 2016.

Even today, Exit has a strong social mission to help youth in the Balkans and it is run by a non-profit organisation.” This is one of the biggest recognitions since Exit Festival had been founded, together with two festival “Oscars”, the two EFA awards for best European festivals, as well as numerous influential lists (BBC, Guardian, CNN, Conde Nast, Yourope, Lonely Planet, Superbrands) where Exit has been regularly named one of the leading festivals in Europe and the world. After founding Sea Dance Festival in Budva, and Revolution Festival in Timisoara, these recognitions are contributions to the entire Exit Adventure, which has the goal to united Balkan’s creative potential, firming its place amongst top-tier world festivals, and making it the most attractive region for youth tourism in the world.

Exit Festival will be held from 7 to 10 July at the Petrovaradin Fortress, later moving on to the Adriatic Sea to continue the Exit Adventure at Jaz Beach in Montenegro for the third annual Sea Dance Festival, held from 14 to 16 July.
