Fat Trel Mixtape Release Show Ends In Gunfire

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Gunfire erupted at a nightclub in lower Manhattan during a concert early Thursday morning, leaving 4 people injured.

The incident occurred during the mixtape release party for Washington D.C.-based rapper Fat Trel at a club called Sounds of Brazil on Varick Street. According to the New York Post, Fire officials said that they received a call about a shooting at 12:15 and when police responded, they reported four people who had suffered nonfatal gunshot wounds. Two were transported to the hospital while two others were treated on-scene.

The alleged gunman fled the scene of the shooting in a black vehicle, police sources told the New York Post. As of yet, no arrests have been made.

Fat Trel posted on his Twitter account shortly after the incident, saying that he never even had the chance to perform.
