SEATTLE, WA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Seattle police are asking local people to help them find a man who beat a father of two to death after a Kenny Chesney concert.
Joey Smith was at a Kenny Chesney concert with friend Benito "Benny" Enriquez Saturday night. According to Smith his friend Enriquez went to get t-shirts as the concert was coming to a close. The two had planned to meet at the car after the purchase for his daughters.
"He went to go meet us at the car. So we made our way back and we saw the police activity and the road shut down and I said 'This isn't good,' because he wasn't there waiting for us." Said Smith.
Enriquez didn't have a pulse when medics arrived. It was concluded that he was beaten on his way back to the vehicle.
"I just can't understand it, because all we've ever been raised in is love and compassion and supporting one another," Cristina, his mother, said. "Who could do that to another person?"
Enriquez was 31 and the father to two daughters and a nurse for the disabled.
Police released photos and video of the suspect and are asking for help in the local Seattle area.
