Three companies from a pool of eight have been selected by the Everett (Wash.) Public Facilities District, to submit specific proposals and design presentations for the $50 million, 10,000-seat arena in downtown Everett, about 30 miles north of Seattle (CA, April 12). The initial estimated cost was $41 million.
The finalists are: M.A. Mortensen Co. of Bellevue, using HOK as architect; Turner Construction Co. of Seattle, teaming with Ellerbe Becket; and PCL Construction Services of Bellevue, with LMN Architects of Seattle and PBK Architects of Vancouver, B.C.
