Fischer And Boni Named Directors At Cardinals Stadium

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) —

Global Spectrum has named Matt Fischer director of Security and Joseph Boni director of Engineering, for the new Cardinals Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Fischer will be responsible for all security at the stadium while Boni will oversee the engineering systems and staff required to maintain the first ever roll-out field and retractable roof stadium in the world.

"Both Joe and Matt have excelled in their respective careers in facility management," said Global Spectrum's Peter C. Sullivan, general manager, Cardinals Stadium. "We look for Matt and Joe to continue their outstanding service to our clients, as well as take the lead in creating a safe and comfortable environment for our patrons, promoters and partners at Cardinals Stadium."

Boni, who most recently was director of Facility services at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, joined Global Spectrum after a three-year career with the symphony that included promotions from chief engineer to facility manager and then to the position of director of Facility Services. One of Boni's main focuses will be to maintain the massive air conditioning system required to cool the NFL's newest stadium.

Fischer, most recently coordinated security at the RCA Dome and Indiana Convention Center, as well as handled the security needs at the weeklong Commonground Music Festival in Lansing, MI. Prior to that, he worked as a strength and conditioning coordinator at Total Fitness in Indianapolis. He will be responsible for all security and guest relations at the facility and act as the stadium's tactical liaison for events such as Arizona Cardinals home games, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, and Super Bowl XLII in 2008.
