LINCOLN, NE (CelebrityAccess) — Fleetwood Mac’s Pinnacle Bank Arena concert Saturday night was cut short after the band's drummer, Mick Fleetwood, became ill in the middle of the show.
After Fleetwood took ill, Nicks told the crowd: “Mick is really sick. We feel terrible, but we can’t really make him play. Give us a minute, and we’ll figure out what to do."
The group played two more songs and then Fleetwood was replaced by a drum tech, for what approved to be an abbreviated show, according to the Lincoln Journal-Star.
“Poor old Mick is really sick,” Christine McVie added. “I sing this for him and for all of you.”
The band pledged to return for a makeup show, but as of yet, no plans pursuant to that goal, or refunds for the shortened show have been announced. – Staff Writers
