ST. LOUIS (AP) — Flooding in St. Louis is minor, but it's enough to shut down one of the region's gambling centers.
The President Casino is closed. Managers tell KSDK-TV it will reopen once the floodwaters recede and workers can remove river debris from the streets, parking lots and access ramps to the riverboat.
The President frequently closes due to flooding, but this is the first time this year.
It will close for good this summer after an agreement was reached earlier this month between owner Pinnacle Entertainment and the Missouri Gaming Commission.
