TORONTO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Former Sony Records veteran Faye Perkins has hung out a shingle for a new management firm, Real World Artist Management.
Perkins has tapped Tal Hebdon to head up Media and Live Entertainment and Caitlin O’Brien to handle promotion and marketing.
While at Sony, Perkins was director of Epic Records and then Sony Records Classical, eventually rising to the post of VP International Marketing.
Hebdon is another Sony Records alum, working with Perkins while at Sony Clasical, as well as stints at CBC Radio Communications, Corus Television and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony. She also did a turn at the Sydney Opera House as a publicist and designed and taught a Business of Music course at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music.
Real World's roster of clients include singer Michael Ciufo, whose debut CD Momento is charting on the Canadian classical charts; drummer and composer Jurij Konje; Duo Concertante (violinist Nancy Dahn and pianist Timothy Steeves); and saxophonist Jane Bunnett.
