(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable has announced his comeback to the biz with a new band.
Cable was sacked by the group over “commitment issues” in September 2003, and has been fairly quiet since.
The new group, as yet unnamed, features Cable on drums, and two musicians from defunct rock outfit Powder. A lead singer has yet to be announced.
Cable told BBC 6 Music that, “At the moment we are just writing songs. It’s a lot heavier than the Stereophonics because that where I’m from really.”
“Hopefully this time next yaer we’ll be up and running because I just want to get back on stage and play,” he added. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
