NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Boys’ Town of Italy has named Thomas Cantone the “Man of the Year” for his invaluable contributions to the charity. Cantone was honored at the Boys Town of Italy’s New York International Ball held at the Waldorf –Astoria, along with CNBC anchor Maria Bartiromo, who was named “Woman of the Year.” Borshct Belt comedian, Stewie Stone hosted the event.
Famed TV personality Regis Philbin presented the award to Cantone, who is the Vice President of Entertainment for Foxwoods Resort Casino. Through his interest in the Boys’ Town of Italy, Cantone has made valued contributions to the charity and helped to raise tens of thousands of the dollars for the charity.
Other attendees at the star-studded black tie gala included Tony May, Caroline Hirsch, Carmen Dell’Orefice and Mercedes Ellington.
Boys' Town of Italy is one of the oldest registered United States charities authorized for service abroad.
