HAMBURG, Germany (CelebrityAccess) — AEG Facilities has named Uwe Frommhold as vice-president and chief operating officer of their German unit, which operates a trio of major arenas in the European nation.
Frommhold will commence his new duties with AEG effective as of April 1st. Steve Schwenkglenks will step in to assume leadership at the Barclaycard Arena and has been promoted to general manager of the facility.
Frommhold has been a part of the AEG team since 2007 when he joined the company as part of their purchase of the 16,000-capacity Color Line Arena in Hamburg (since renamed to the Barclaycard) where he served as managing director.
More recently, he did a stint as vice president of AEG Facilities in Germany.
