BRIDGEPORT, CT (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers for the Gathering of the Vibes have announced the round of artists on the lineup for the 20th anniversary of the festival when it returns to Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut from July 30th to August 2nd.
“The VibeTribe has spoken, and we have listened,” notes Ken Hays, Festival Owner. “Familiar favorites and future favorites present a potent line-up to celebrate our twentieth year sharing music, life, and each other.”
The lineup for 2015 features Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Wilco, Gregg Allman, Weezer, String Cheese Incident in their only northeast appearance for the summer and Bill Kreutzmann's new project Billy & The Kids.
The lineup also includes Dark Star Orchestra, The Tedeschi Trucks Band with their 11-piece blues-rock ensemble, Dwezil Zappa's Zappa Plays Zappa, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, The Word and Gaslight Anthem.
Additionally, a Vibes tribute to the golden anniversary of the Grateful Dead is expected. Gathering of the Vibes was origianlly envisioned as an event to commemorate the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia.
