MUNICH (VIP-NEWS) — The Rockavaria festival in Munich will not happen in 2017.
In 2015 and 2016, Global Concerts and DEAG organized the Rockavaria festival in Munich`s Olympiapark but for the 2017 edition there were so far neither confirmations nor advance sale so its hardly surprising that the organizers are now pulling the plug at Rockavaria.
"We have worked hard to make a line-up that meets our high standards "Explains Andrea Blahetek-Hauzenberger, Managing Director of Global Concerts (pictured). However, it would remain faithful to the idea of presenting Rockavaria only if "it was good enough".
Blahetek-Hauzenberger does not tell which acts she has dealt with.
Instead, she refers to various concerts by Rockbands, which brings Global Concerts brings to to Munich in the spring: "We offer audience a whole series of high-profile singles in great locations." The global director points out, among other things, Aerosmith`s appearances on the Königsplatz on 26 May, Dream Theater on 19 May at Zenith and Kiss on 18 May and Deep Purple on 19 May at the Olympiahalle.
