DUBLIN, Ireland (CelebrityAccess) — Irish pop-punk group Girl Band announced that they have pulled out of all of their remaining concert dates for 2017 citing illness.
In the statement, the band said: “We’re very sorry to announce that due to health issues in the band we have to cancel all upcoming shows for this year. We sincerely apologise to all the promoters and fans affected by this.”
The group did not disclose the nature of the malady, or who had been afflicted. This isn't the first such cancellation for them either.
In 2016, they pulled out of their tour dates, also citing illness, but later went on a brief tour in the U.S. in April to promote their album "Holding Hands With Jamie."
They were slated to return to the road this summer for a series of shows and festival dates around Europe, including the End of the Road Festival and Best Kept Secret Festival. – Staff Writers
