Glastonbury Announces New Lineup

PILTON, UK (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers have announced an additional 87 artists for the 2014 Glastonbury Festival, with headliners Arcade Fire, Kasabian, Special Guests, Jack White, Skrillex, The Pixies, Lily Allen and the Black Keys added to the bill.

The lineup announcement features numerous artists who will be making their Glastonbury debut, including Lana Del Rey, Chance the Rapper and Courtney Barnett and some will be returning for the first time in decades such as The Pixies who last played Glasto in 1989, 23 years ago.

Additional announcements, such as the Saturday headliner for the festival's Pyramid Stage, are forthcoming.

"One of the great things for us about this year’s line up is that there are so many artists who have never played Glastonbury before, along with some of the most exciting new bands stepping up to play some of the big headline slots on main stages, like Skrillex and Disclosure," festival organizer Emily Eavis told The Guardian.

"We’re very chuffed to have some of the biggest acts in the world, like Arcade Fire, Dolly Parton and Jack White, making one-off festival appearances," Eavis continued. – Staff Writers
