MEMPHIS, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Global Spectrum has named Derek Goldfarb as the new Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales for the Memphis Redbirds. In addition to his duties with the Redbirds, Goldfarb will also oversee the team's homefield, AutoZone Park.
In his new role, Goldfarb will oversee all of the advertising and premium seating sales opportunities at AutoZone Park and for the Redbirds. In addition, he will oversee the Group Sales Department and the Season Ticket Sales Office. He joined Global Spectrum's parent company, Comcast-Spectacor, in 2003, selling tickets in the 76ers sales office.
Goldfarb most recently was in the Advertising-Sales Department at Global Spectrum's flagship arena, the Wachovia Center, in Philadelphia, PA, where he sold advertising and sponsorship opportunities for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Philadelphia Flyers, both entities of Global Spectrum's parent company, Comcast-Spectacor.
