Goldfine Named VP At Network LIVE

Network LIVE, a joint venture between American Online, XM Satellite Radio and AEG, has appointed otelevision industry veteran Michael Goldfine to vice president of Production and Programming. Goldfine will oversee all creative development and production of Network LIVE programming, including music events, original programming, and comedy, ensuring the program translates across multiple digital distribution platforms such as Internet, satellite radio, mobile, and TV. Additionally, he will hear pitches from and develop talent, writers, and producers as well as manage relationships with distribution and content partners for Network LIVE programming.

Goldfine joins Network LIVE following three years as senior producer and correspondent for Extra! where he oversaw production of the daily nationally-syndicated entertainment show and developed and produced international specials for Telepictures. Prior to Extra, Goldfine created, developed and co-produced Cathouse for HBO. He also produced human interest pieces for The Oprah Winfrey Show.

A veteran of sports programming, Goldfine produced the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics for NBC, has held senior producer positions with Fox, where he developed, produced and launched Goin' Deep, Rewind, and The Last Word with Jim Rome for Fox Sports Net. He developed and supervised Beyond the Glory for Fox while at Broadband Sports. For the American Film Institute, he developed, wrote, directed, and produced a media campaign featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, and Jack Nicholson. Other producer credits include Deco Drive, The New Mike Ditka Show, Bears Sunday Live, and Fox Diner.
