Grammy GPS Professional Development In Atlanta


ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Recording Academy's Atlanta chapter has announced that their Grammy GPS Professional Development event is set to take place at The Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center At Kennesaw State University on Saturday, July 30.

The Grammy GPS focuses on providing a forum and networking opportunities for independent artists, producers, labels and managers. The professional development event will include educational panels hosted by Grammy winning producers, engineers, songwriters, as well as execs working in the world of music and film.

Panelists at this year's event include Deerhunter's drummer Moses Archuleta; A2IM President Rich Bengloff; Yep Roc/Red Eye Distribution co-owner Tor Hansen, top producers Mike Clink, Kenneth “Duro” Ifill and Jordan “DJ Swivel” Young; indie hip hop artist Aleon Craft; GRAMMY® nominated vocalist Kelly Price; Collective Soul's Ed Roland; and vocal producer and coach Jan Smith. Top music supervisors PJ Bloom, Maureen Crowe, Joel C. High and Alexandra Patsavas.
