It's easy to be critical of the Grammy's as a "Who Cares?" insiders event. But given its television ratings and considerable sales bump, the Grammy's still matter.

It was announced today that the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards returns to Los Angeles' STAPLES Center on Monday, Feb 15th for its 2016 edition. It will be broadcast on CBS from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
Eligibility for the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards is Oct. 1, 2014, to Sept. 30, 2015.
GRAMMY Week — a weeklong series of cultural events culminating with the Grammys, will again feature celebrations of music, education and philanthropy, including the Entertainment Law Initiative luncheon, the Producers & Engineers Wing event, the annual MusiCares Person of the Year tribute, the Special Merit Awards Ceremony & Nominees Reception, and Clive Davis and The Recording Academy's Pre-GRAMMY Gala, among other events.
