CLEVELAND (CelebrityAccess) — Pop-punk outfit Green Day announced that they will be playing a surprise show at the House of Blues in Cleveland on April 16th, just two days ahead of their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Announced on April 1st, the band seemed cognizant of the day's significance to pranksters everywhere and reassured fans that the date was legit, saying "THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS' JOKE."
New York-based rock artist Jesse Malin will be the opening act at the show.
