POINT PLEASANT, NJ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Max Cruise Entertainment has named former Live Nation / Electric Factory Concerts talent buyer Jon Hampton as President of the company. Hampton will oversee daily operations, implement strategic and financial planning, plus continue to buy talent on all levels.
With Live Nation, Hampton handled bookings for clubs, theaters and arenas throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Prior to his time with Live Nation, Hampton headed Heyday Entertainment which handled talent buying duties for the Trocadero Theatre and the North Star in Philadelphia.
Hampton brings over ten years of experience in the concert industry to the New Jersey-based Max Cruise. Company founder and CEO John D’Esposito will work in conjunction with Hampton to restructure the company, which has quickly become one of the country’s rising independent promotion firms.
Max Cruise Entertainment produces the two-day Bamboozle Festival, held this past May at Giants Stadium, drawing over 55,000 fans to watch Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday and AFI, among others. The company also produces concerts, comedy, festivals and children programs in various venues from clubs to arenas. They currently oversee talent buying for the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, N.J.
