CLEVELAND (CelebrityAccess) — The Hard Rock Cafe has announced plans to close their s Cleveland location in July, following the Republican convention.
According to the company, the closure is a "strategic decision" that will allow the company to focus marketing efforts on the Hard Rock Cafe and Hard Rock Racino at Northfield Park in Northfield, Ohio.
The Northfield park location features a 2,600-capacity performance space, as well as a the Club Velvet nightclub.
The downtown Cleveland location first opened in 1998 during a period of expansion for the company. The news release said that employees affected by the closure of the Cleveland outlet would be given consideration for positions at the Northfield Park location. – Staff Writers
