SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ready for their 33rd year, the Harmony Festival has announced the full lineup of artists and speakers for this year's event, with an expanded focus on music.
Set to take place from June 10-12 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, CA, the festival this year will feature five stages with performances by Primus, The Flaming Lips, Michael Franti & Spearhead, G. Love & Special Sauce, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Railroad Earth, Ghostland Observatory, David Starfire Ensemble, Lost At Last Tribe.
Also appearing will be DJs Gaudio and Opiuo as well as roots reggae and sacred music artists Krishna Das with Natacha Atlas & Tiraline, Soja, Rootz Underground, Shimasi, the David Nelson Band and a tribute to Jerry Garcia featuring Jesse McReynolds and Moon Alice.
The festival is also making room for some emerging bay-area talent with planned performances by The Soft White Sixties, El Radio Fantasique and Three Legged Sister on the schedule.
In addition to music, the festival will feature speakers and this year's roster includes author and actor Mike Farrell; health & fitness expert/actor Mariel Hemingway; Bobby Williams, founder of Earthsave International and John Robbins wit Ocean. Other speakers include Pacifica radio host Caroline Casey, The Yes Men, James Twyman, Dr. Steven M. Greer and Mahendra Kumar Trivedi.
At night, the festival will stage several dance areas – tribal techno at the Mystic Beat Lounge, After Dark Harmony Hall and After Dark in Grace Pavilion.
