MINNEAPOLIS, MN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Hip hop artist P.O.S. (Stefon Alexander) has been forced to postpone his forthcoming tour due to health reasons: in particular, needing a kidney transplant.
The only date on his current itinerary to be excepted from this postponment is his Minneapolis show at First Avenue October 26th.
In a video, Alexander says that he had been planning to undergo dialysis during the tour but was forced to postpone after that proved to be unpractical.
Hip hop collective Doomtree has set up a PayPal account to accept donations on behalf of Alexander to help defray his medical expenses. In a post on the collective's website, they said
"In response to the outpouring of concern for our friend Stef, we’ve set up a PayPal account on his behalf. If you’d like to make a donation, you can direct it to: firstname.lastname@example.org The money will go straight to him. We’ll be launching a proper campaign soon, but were overrun by a lot of people eager to help now. Thank you. For real. Let’s get this guy patched up."
