LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — According to NME The White Stripes have announced the cancellation of the rest of their upcoming US tour dates.
The band is scrapping 18 dates that were due to start later this week (September 13).
The band announced today (September 12) that Meg White is suffering from "acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time".
They added: "The White Stripes sincerely apologize to their fans. We hate to let people down and are very sorry."
The duo's jaunt was set to go into October, but as of now none of the shows have been rescheduled. Tickets will be refunded at the points of purchase.
