SHERMAN OAKS, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Dolly Parton caught up with former collaborator Yusuf Islam while in London as part of a European press tour in support of her forthcoming Better Day album and tour.
Better Day is the follow-up to Dolly’s 2008 Backwoods Barbie album.
Featuring 12 original Dolly compositions, the album will be released worldwide on her own Dolly Records in June or July with the exact date yet to be announced. This album will mark the fourth release on the independent label.
Dolly will debut the album’s first single “Together You & I” with a live performance Thursday, May 26 on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” as the song simultaneously arrives at radio. The song’s video will debut shortly thereafter.
To coincide with the album’s release, Dolly will head out on a world tour kicking off July 17 in America, before heading to the U.K., Europe and Australia.
