LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Eric & Nick V of the Baka Boyz, Rick Aaron, David Harden Sr. & David Harden Jr. of Orange County Productions have joined forces to present a series of concerts featuring some of Hip-Hop’s Hottest Artists.
The first show, “The Winter Takeover Turn Up!,” kicks off December 29, 2012, at the Robobank Theater in Bakersfield, California. The bill features Young Money recording artist Tyga, Epic recording artist Cash Out, DJ and Bay Area recording artist Love Rance, producer Polow da Don’s protégés W3 The Future, Moe Dee Entertainment recording artist Clyde Carson, Brick Squad Entertainment’s Joe Moses, and more.
The concert events consist of 30 shows in 55 markets. Many of the events will be held in mid-size arenas and cities around the country, including Albuquerque, NM; Kansas City, MO; Tulsa, OK; Oklahoma City, OK; Salt Lake City, UT; Reno, NV; Columbus, OH; Milwaukee, WI, and more. The Baka Boyz are heard in syndication in all 55 of the markets, and will be on-hand to host the majority of shows. Expect more artists to be announced for future dates.
"This is an incredible opportunity for Eric and me to expand our national brand that we have established with our Pop and Hip-Hop radio mixshows,” states Nick V of the Baka Boyz. “Our program directors are extremely excited that we will be bringing top notch and new talent to our affiliate cities. With Rick and O.C., the sky is the limit! Stay tuned!"
Music industry promoter Rick Aaron of Aaron Entertainment, who recently merged with O.C. Productions, is behind this concert series. Aaron says, “All of us are really excited about this new venture. I’ve known the Baka Boyz for years, and they continue to keep their fingers on the pulse of what is hot in music. I am truly appreciative of the artists who have agreed to headline the various shows. They are topping playlists around the U.S.; especially in the respective markets where they are performing. The artists are chosen based on broad market appeal and recognition, radio success, strong fan following and of course the “it” factor artists. We are also elated to introduce several young, up and coming artists, who are generating solid fan bases via social media. These concerts are a perfect marketing tool to help break new artists. This is an exciting time for ventures such as ours, especially in a concert promotion environment being dominated by conglomerates.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
