HoB Hit With Discrimination Lawsuit


NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The House of Blues in New Orleans has been hit with a lawsuit by a former employee alleging racial and gender discrimination.

According to the Louisiana Record, the former employee Eartha Grant filed suit in federal court, claiming that HoB of disparate treatment based on race and gender, hostile work environment, failure to promote and unlawful constructive discharge due to her race and gender.

She asserts that HoB's actions were intentional and undertaken with "reckless indifference" to her civil rights and have been the source of "mental anguish, emotional distress and upset, grief, aggravation, loss of enjoyment of life, physical pain and suffering."
