LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation's club division, House of Blues Entertainment, has signed an exclusive, long-term deal to book Los Angeles’ historic Belasco Theater.
The agreement was announced by HoB's chief operating officer Ben Weeden.
“It’s an incredibly beautiful historic venue — truly the most beautiful in L.A. and one of the most beautiful in the U.S.,” Weeden said. “Our vision is to take this amazing venue to an even higher level."
Originally opened in 1926 by theatrical producer, impresario, director and playwright David Belasco, the downtown theatre re-opened in 2011 as a live performance space with two restaurants, five bars (including a wine bar), a ballroom, and the main theater space.
Recent shows at the Belasco include Coldplay and Sam Smith. – Staff Writers
