HUDSON, OH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Fall Out Boy tickets purchased through Ticketsnow.com cost a Hudson teen more than he bargained for.
According to News 5, teenager Ethan Millsaps logged on Ticketmaster.com to purchase tickets to the forthcoming May Fall Out Boy appearance at the Time Warner Cable Amphitheater. Millsaps had purchased tickets through Ticketmaster.com in the past and expected no particular challenges but upon searching, he was redirected to Ticketmaster affiliate Ticketsnow.com.
Millsaps says that he was interested in purchasing half a dozen tickets and when he saw the quoted price of $311, he assumed it was for all of the tickets which had a face value of $35. However, when his mom's credit card bill arrived, there were charges of nearly $1,500 for said tickets. Apparently Ethan hadn't noticed the 'ea' next to the quoted price.
The Millsaps contacted Ticketsnow, but were told that the tickets were non-refundable and non-exchangeable. The canny Millsaps refused delivery on said tickets and TicketsNow agreed to put the tickets on consignment. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
