IFG Names Abernethy House Of Hope General Manager


Chicago, IL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Carrington Abernethy has been named general manager of House of Hope, operated by International Facilities Group. The arena is a state-of-the art family entertainment venue serving Chicagoland and northern Indiana and is home to worship services for Salem Baptist Church. There she will manage the 10,000-seat arena and will handle the booking, programming and marketing for all family-oriented events at the House of Hope.

Carrington has worked for Live Nation – Motor Sports for the past eight years, most recently as senior director of booking. There she was responsible for the day-to-day booking operations for 12 motor sports properties and over 500 performances in NFL, NHL, NBA stadiums and arenas in the top 100 US markets.
Carrington is a member of the International Association of Auditorium Managers (IAAM) and is a graduate of IAAM Ogelbay Institute.

The Salem Baptist Church is a large religious organization based in Chicago. The church, founded in 1985, has been named as one of the fastest-growing churches in the U.S. They completed construction on the House of Hope, a 10,008 seat Auditorium and Neighborhood Activity Center in 2005. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
