NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) Everyone in the entertainment industry has a story about someone's strange rider. Iggy Pop has them all beat, hands-down.
The website The Smoking Gun (click here to view the whole rider) has posted a copy of The Stooges sprawling rider, in all it's tongue-in-cheek glory.
Apparently written by one of the band's roadies, Jos Grain, the rider rambles on for 18 unfocused pages, meandering between humorous asides and technical requirements. Some of the topics he covers are: he carries on arguments with stage managers from Santiago, he makes suggestions for reality television shows that may or may not be illegal, a request for a USA Today for the dressing room with an article about morbidly-obese people and even a Bob Hope impersonator for the dressing room.
