LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Pizza chain Papa John's ran afoul of Australian rapper Iggy Azalea after a delivery driver for the company allegedly shared Azalea's phone number to a number of his friends after making a pizza delivery to the rapper.
After ordering the Pizza, Azalea took to Twitter, claiming that she had been inundated with texts, tweeting: "@PapaJohns I ordered a cheese pizza but instead I got tons of calls and messages like this one" referring to an image of a text message she claims to have received.
A rep for Papa John's further inflamed the situation with an attempt at a joke, Tweeting "@iggyazalea #We should have known better. Customer and employee privacy is important to us. Please don’t #bounce us!"
Azalea responded with "@PapaJohns I don't think data breach is funny. I expect you to contact me to explain how you are going to rectify your breach."
The company has since said it has reached out to Azalea in an attempt to salvage the situation. – Staff Writers
