Iggy Pop On Spring Tour With Josh Homme

SEATTLE, WA (VIP NEWS) — Iggy Pop is set to embark on a special “Post Pop Depression” tour beginning this March.

The tour will feature the lineup of Iggy Pop, Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age’s), Dean Fertita, Troy Van Leeuwen and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders and journeyman guitarist / bassist Matt Sweeney.

According to the band, it’s a one off line up that will never happen again. The group will perform material from Post Pop Depression along with classics spanning Iggy Pop’s solo career.

In the middle of the desert, Iggy’s Post Pop Depression album was written in just a few weeks with help from Josh Homme. The record was recorded in secret, going public the same day the band debuted “Gardenia” live on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Iggy Pop has since shared a second single from the album, “Break Into Your Heart.”

Iggy Pop’s Post Pop Depression is set for a March 18 release.
