(CelebrityAccess News Service) – David Lee Roth has cancelled the remainder of his fall tour. During his September 17 show at Philadelphia's Keswick Theatre, Roth hit himself in the eye with the microphone, or stand, which he was swinging while performing "Jump". The accident required 21 stitches on his face.
"Needless to say, singing and dancing is a bit difficult currently, necessitating the cancellation of the last few weeks of my tour," Roth said in a statement. "Hopefully these shows will be rescheduled after the first of the year. Thanks for a great tour. See ya down the road."
His tour was to have wrapped up October 4 in Arizona.
