LAS VEGAS (Hypebot) — A new awards show dedicated to dance music will debut in Las Vegas next year, created by top EDM promoter Insomniac and Dick Clark Productions (DCP). Announced during yesterday's EDMbiz conference, the show will launch during Electric Daisy Carnival week. DCP is the producer of the Golden Globes and American Music Awards,

“Creating an award show focused on all the creative components that contribute to the success of dance music (music, art, production and lighting) has been a dream of mine for years,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac.
