Jackie Mason Returns To Broadway

Instead of his typical one-man stand-up Broadway show, comedian Jackie Mason is gearing up for a return to the Great White Way with "Scandals," due in February 2003 at an unspecified Shubert theater. "Scandals," a celebration of burlesque, will have a 15-member cast and nine-piece orchestra.

Mason will write and star in the $3.5 million production that is co-produced by Jon Stoll and Fred Krohn. There are negotiations to preview "Scandals" at the Papermill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ in time for the fall 2002 subscription series.
