LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Universal Music Publishing Group has named Jake Simon as their Director of Creative.
Simon joins UMPG from Atlas Music Publishing, where he served as Director, Creative and handled talent development, acquisitions and worked with a roster that included Toby Gad, Makeba Riddick, Best Kept Secret, Major Myjah, and Mike and Keys among others.
Prior to Atlas Music Publishing, he served as Associate Director of Writer/Publisher relations at Broadcast Music, Inc. where he signed writers and helped to program showcases.
Simon will be based in UPMG's Los Angeles offices and report to David Gray, UMPG EVP/Head of West Coast A&R.
