Jason Aldean Announces Big Summer Plans

NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) Jason Aldean isn’t taking much time off after a busy and emotionally heavy 2017, announcing that he’s on the road for a 34-city trek beginning in May alongside Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina.

The “High Noon Neon Tour,” which is launching as as new album is being prepared, kicks off at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., and wraps at Irvine, Calif.’s FivePoint Amphitheater Sept. 29.

“We named this tour after a song that’ll be on my next record,” the two-time ACM Entertainer of the Year said in a statement. “It reminds me of the bars I grew up playing in Georgia when I was getting started. We’re going to bring some of that raw energy out this summer with Luke and Lauren — I know we’re all ready.”

This tour is unlike like last year’s, sans stadiums like SunTrust Park, Hershey Stadium and Fenway Park. It also may have a healing tone to it, with Aldean’s unfortunate association with the tragedy at Las Vegas’ Route 91 Harvest festival, when his set was interrupted by gunfire that left 48 people dead. He emerged soon afterward, providing emotional performances for benefit shows and on “Saturday Night Live” among other appearances.
