ST. LOUIS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Jazz Cruises, LLC has added a fifth cruise to its fleet of full charter, luxury jazz cruises. The Latin Music Cruise hosted by Arturo Sandoval will have its inaugural sailing, January 27 – February 3, 2008 aboard the grand vista class Holland America Line, m/s Westerdam. The seven-day voyage of the Caribbean will depart Ft. Lauderdale with ports of call in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Santa Barbara de Semana and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and Half Moon Cay, The Bahamas.
Sandoval has worked closely with Jazz Cruises executive director Michael Lazaroff in putting together an ex all-star line-up featuring vocalist/guitarist Jose Feliciano, bandleader Eddie Palmieri, conguero Poncho Sanchez, Cuban singer/songwriter Albita, vocalist/composer/guitarist Amaury Gutierrez, vocalist Malena Burke and the Cuban Timba All Stars featuring Tomás Cruz. He will also work closely with the artists to create extra-curricular daytime events and seminars offering a unique opportunity for the artists and cruise guests to bond beyond the experience of entertaining.
