LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — United Talent Agency has hired veteran comedy rep Joe Eshenbaugh as an agent in its comedy touring unit.
Eshenbaugh will continue to represent new and established comedians, in the touring, film, television and digital media spaces. He will be based in the agency's Los Angeles offices.
Eshenbaugh joins the UTA team after a 5-year stint at Innovative Artists where he oversaw a revamp of the agency's comedy roster. While at Innovative, he helped to establish a series of 15 one-hour stand-up specials, 10 half-hour specials and countless late night appearances for comedians on his roster. Eshenbaugh's clients at Innovative included Mick Foley, and Gary Valentine, but the disposition of his roster following the move to UTA was not announced.
