SEASIDE, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Its been a busy year at Joe Fletcher Presents, with staff additions, new offices in California and Florida, and a new office in South Africa focusing on festivals and opportunities for American bands in the country.
Rick Bishop has been hired as vice president of the northeast division. He and his wife both have strong backgrounds in marketing and promotion and have been working in the concert industry in recent years.
A newly-opened Florida office will be headed up by Jeffrey Katz. Jeff has a very strong background first in investment banking then working with Les Garland and The Tube, a television channel that shows 24 hours of commercial free music videos.
Joe has also been keeping busy in South Africa as well, not only helping to organize the successful ThisDay festival, which brought top name performers such as Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Ciara, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot, King Sunny Ade to perform at the two-day festival that was held in Lagos, Nigeria last fall. Joe also reported that he had just finished booking the Tobago Jazz Festival in the West Indies. The lineup features Elton, Al Green, Heather Headley, Earth, Wind & Fire, Diana Ross and more.
Its not just festivals that Joe is working on in Africa. Joe Fletcher Presents has just opened an office in South Africa where he has partnered with an aggressive team of experienced concert promoters.
