The Agency Group says they are proud to announce that John Pantle and Linda Kordek have joined
their Los Angeles office.
John Pantle started his career in the frenetic world of Punk and Ska. During the mid
‘90’s John was a concert promoter for House of Blues in Las Vegas and Anaheim. He
promoted the Ice Village and Sprint Village for the 2002 Winter Olympics and most
recently was the National Booking Director for the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles.
Throughout his career he worked to develop the Rock en Espanol market in Los Angeles.
In 1998 he was named Latin Talent Buyer of the Year, and is a prominent presence in the
Latin Music arena. He brings many great clients from the Latin world, including El Gran
Silencio, Jumbo, Lucybell, Maldita Vecindad, Panteon Rococo, Plastilina Mosh, Circo
and Café Tacuba.
Linda Kordek was an orchestral flute player with the LA Philharmonic before starting her
own agency 8 years ago. She represents many eminent composers, music supervisors
and music editors including Oscar nominated composer Laurence Rosenthal (Beckett,
The Young Indiana Jones, Original Miracle Worker) who is currently working on the
score of a new musical “Sherri!” starring Carol Burnett, Nathan Lane, Bernadette Peters
and Tommy Tune, Emmy nominated Greg Edmonson (King of the Hill), Charles Sydnor
(Malcolm in the Middle) and Genie and Gemini award winner Jonathan Goldsmith.
